May 17, 2023 (China Knowledge) - This year China Intelligent Vehicle Technology Exhibition focuses on with the theme “Technology Leading Cross-border Integration, Promoting Industry Chain” was held at the Chongqing International Expo Center last week. The exhibition was jointly organized by the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers and the Chongqing Investment Promotion Bureau. This major annual event for auto industry has invited key manufacturers like CITIC Pacific Special Steel (000708). Other major players participated in this exhibition include Baosteel, Angang Steel, and Hesteel.
At the CITIC Pacific Special Steel’s exhibition area, more than 20 varieties of bearing steel, gear steel, non-quenched and tempered steel, free-cutting steel, alloy structural steel, cord steel, and other automotive parts were showcased. Additionally, extended products from the industry chain such as air suspension control arms, engine camshafts, and gearbox gear shafts were prominently displayed, attracting numerous professional visitors for exchange and discussion.
The "China Intelligent Vehicle Technology Exhibition" aims to promote the smooth and stable operation of China's automotive industry supply chain, enhance the synergy between the upstream and downstream of the industry chain, and strengthen the automakers’ supply chain. Hundreds of well-known automotive industry chain enterprises, including Dongfeng Motor, Changan Ford, Great Wall Motor, Li Auto, and SAIC Iveco Hongyan, participated in the event for procurement.
China (Chongqing) Automotive Technology Exhibition, abbreviated as CHINA ATEC, was first held in 2011. The exhibition has always focused on the market demands of automakers and end-consumers, and the future trends of the industry to actively promoting the application of global innovative technologies in the automotive field. It has become the most representative industry event in China and a benchmark for tracking the forefront of automotive technology trends.
