Apr 21, 2023 (China Knowledge) - At this year’s major petroleum and chemical exhibition held at the Suzhou from April 13 to April 15 saw CITIC Pacific Special Steel (000708) captures the limelight at the exhibition and conferences. The annual event covers the entire industry chain of the petrochemical industry and industrial products, and is aimed at promoting the green and low-carbon development of industrial enterprises. Over the years this annual event has evolved to align with digital technology and integration into real economy.
At this year’s exhibition CITIC Pacific Special Steel brought its subsidiaries, including Xingcheng Special Steel, Daye Special Steel, Tianjin Steel Pipe, Jingjiang Special Steel, and Zhejiang Steel Pipe, to showcase cutting-edge products and immersive experiences, providing strong support for the further transformation and upgrading of the petrochemical industry.
The event is led by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and jointly promoted by China National Petroleum Corporation (CNPC) , China Petroleum & Chemical Corporation (600028) (SNP.US), and China National Offshore Oil Corporation (CNOOC) (CEO.US).
Wang Wenjin, Executive Vice President of CITIC Pacific Special Steel Group, Ding Hua, General Manager of Tianjin Steel Pipe, Liu Wenxue, General Manager of Jingjiang Special Steel, and Xiong Yi, Assistant President of the Group, attended the exhibition. Wang Wenjin expressed that CITIC Pacific Special Steel Group is committed high-quality and sustainable development, providing concrete support for the industrial development of China.
Sinopec’s Senior Vice President cum President of China Petroleum and Petrochemical Equipment Industry Association, Liu Hongbin led a delegation to visit the CITIC Pacific Special Steel Group exhibition booth, and endorsed the company’s R&D achievements and applications in special steel pipes and plates. This acknowledgement also recognizes CITIC Pacific Special Steel Group's contribution to the development of China's oil and chemical industry.
In this year's EPEC.com ranking, an ecommerce platform for industrial products, had listed many of CITIC Pacific Special Steel Group's subsidiaries. Tianjin Steel Pipe and Jingjiang Special Steel were ranked for ‘Trading & Transactional Communication’. In the ‘Oil Pipe’ product quality category Tianjin Steel Pipe was named, and Xingcheng Special Steel won the ‘High-strength Steel Plate Durability’ category and topped the list for ‘PLS2 Steel Plate-X80’ category.
