Oct 15, 2018 (China Knowledge) - China’s e-commerce giant JD.com has concluded a strategic cooperation agreement with New Cooperation Trade China Group co., ltd, (NCS), domestic chain-store group. Mrs. Qiting, general manager of user experience promotion effort of JD and vice president of NCS signed the deal on October 12.
NCS, a subsidiary of China co-op group, targets markets in third-and-fourth tier cities and rural areas. Its business includes diversified forms of supermarket chain operation network and logistics distribution, ranging from shopping center, mall and supermarkets as well as convenience stores, franchised counters and countryside stores.
Both sides have agreed to set ‘co-building urban-rural commuting retailing’ as a joint goal. Both parties will leverage their own sources and strength to work together for innovation, pushing business and trade sector forward as well as better develop and explore online and offline integration of smart retail. They will also pursue a deep partnership in product customization, development, cultivation and logistics.
