May 31, 2018 (China Knowledge) - The US index publisher has announced that five China A-share companies have been dropped from several MSCI indexes including MSCI China A Inclusion Index, MSCI China A large cap indexes, MSCI China All shares and MSCI China A onshore Index.
This brings the total number of Chinese stocks for index inclusion to 226, from the original 234 stocks. The dropouts removed are Chinese telecom giant ZTE Corp, Beijing Orient Landscape & Environment Co Ltd, China Hainan Rubber Industry Group Co Ltd, China Railway Group Ltd and Shanxi Taigang Stainless Co Ltd.
