May 31, 2018 (China Knowledge) - China's trade surplus in April was USD 28.78 bln, bouncing back from its USD 49.83 bln deficit position in March.
Denominated in USD, China's April imports in April grew 21.5%, compared to the previous value of 14.4%, while its exports growth were 12.9%, compared to previous value of 2.7% less. Trade value between China and the U.S. in Jan-Apr 2018 was RMB 1.24 trln, an increase of 5.9% YoY. China's trade surplus with US in April widened to USD 22.19 bln, compared to the surplus of USD 15.43 bln in March.
