Mar 06, 2023 (China Knowledge) - FTSE China A50 index falls 0.21% on opening to 13,542.76.

Of the 50 stocks in the index, China State Construction Engineering (601668) and Foxconn Industrial Internet (601138) saw the largest increase of 1.64% and 1.14%, respectively.

SJEC (601360) and Midea (000333) fell the most, dropping 0.94% and 0.65%, respectively.

The Shanghai Composite Index opened 3,332.02, rising 0.11%, Shenzhen Component Index 11,850.82, down 0.01%. Over at HK, Hang Seng Index declined 0.63%, to open at 20,437.87.

Last Friday, the Dow Jones Index ended 1.17% higher, while the NASDAQ climbed by 1.97%.
