Sep 22, 2021 (China Knowledge) - China Universal Bloomberg China Policy Bank Bond 1-3 Years Index Fund (012128) is launched today for subscription. The fund is a passive bond index fund managed by China Universal Asset Management Co.,Ltd. This fund matches the relevant characteristics of the benchmark index investment to achieve the same yield as the bond index.

Our records show the company is currently managing 216 funds with aggregate AUM of RMB 920.35 bln.

The investment manager He Min has over 13 years of experience. He has previously developed expertise in mitigating various risks, optimizing fund performance, and has a master's degree. Currently there are 7 funds under his management, totaled RMB 23,358 mln asset under management (AUM).

He seeks to invest the fund mostly in the manufacturing, finance and transportation, warehousing & postal services industry. The top holdings in his current portfolio are China Development Bank (170206), Postal Savings Bank of China Co.,Ltd. (601658), Gansu Wanchuan Network Technology Co., Ltd (200202) and China Development Bank (180211), among which the best performing security rose 7.54% over the past 3 months.

China Universal Absolute China Bond Fund (000396) which he manages, since 22 Nov 2013, performed the best recording 3.66% in terms of annualized return, exceeded its peers’ average return. Over the past 6 months, it has realized a total gain of 2.08%.

His other 6 funds are China Universal Absolute China Bond Fund (000395), China Universal Chinabond 1-3 Year CDB Bond Index Fund (007097), China Universal Chinabond 1-3 Year CDB Bond Index Fund (007098) and so on offer annualized performance from 2% to 4%.
