Dec 06, 2018 (China Knowledge) - Didi has announced to upgrade its organizational structure. The announcement was made through an email to the company's employees, yesterday. The upgrade will merge and adjust the core business and multi-departments of Didi. The special car and express car business groups will be merged to set up a new ride hailing platform. The original orange automobile service and automobile asset management center (AMC) will be merged to upgrade to a new car owner service company.
Security issues are also included in the restructuring. In this adjustment, Wang Xin was appointed as the new chief safety officer of Didi security affairs department.
The letter also mentioned that the group’s security committee will continue to promote the implementation of security rectification work, increase online and offline resources investment, and effectively improve the level of safety management. Emergency response team composed of competent departments will continue to enhance the emergency response capacity. The group will continue to employ senior experts in relevant fields as safety consultants to guide the construction of the company's safety system. The company will accept the supervision and assistance of the government, the public and all sectors of society, in a move to ensure safety of the passengers.
