The figure last month was less than a net addition of 4.33 million 3G users it realized a month earlier.

By the end of last month, China Unicom saw its 3G subscribers amount to 91.89 million.

In April, the company saw its mobile subscribers increase by 3.92 million, and leading its total mobile subscribers to 255 million.

Meanwhile, China Unicom's fixed-line users decreased by 584,000 last month to a total of 90.69 million, and its broadband user volume increased by 514,000 to 61.43 million.
