China's non-financial ODI up 25% in Jan-Nov

Dec. 18, 2012 (China Knowledge) - China's overseas direct investment (ODI) in the non-financial sectors surged 25% YoY to US$62.53 billion in the first eleven months of this year, according to the latest statistics released by the Ministry of Commerce.  

During the period from January to November, Chinese investors made ODI in 3596 enterprises in 130 countries and regions.

Of the total ODI, US$49.33 billion were equity investment and other investments, accounting for 78.8% of the country's total, while the remaining US$13.2 billion were reinvested.

Meanwhile, China's new contract value grew 12.9% from a year earlier to US$128.8 billion in the first eleven months of this year.
