Dec. 18, 2012 (China Knowledge) - Hong Kong International Airport saw its passenger throughput exceed 4.6 million in November this year, reflecting a YoY increase of 5.5%, according to a statement of the Airport Authority Hong Kong.
In November, the airport's aircraft movements rose 6.6% YoY to 29,710. Meanwhile, its cargo and mail throughput increased 9.3% YoY to a record high of 374,000 metric tons last month.
In the first eleven months of this year, Hong Kong International Airport saw its passenger volume increase 4.8% YoY to 51.5 million, while its aircraft movements rose 5.4% from a year earlier to 320,860.
The airport handled 3.7 million metric tons of cargo during the eleven-month period, 1.7% more than it realized in the same period of last year.
