Fujian's foreign trade down 4.7% in Nov

Dec. 17, 2012 (China Knowledge) - Fujian Province saw its export and import value decrease 4.7% YoY to US$14.29 billion in November this year, according to the latest statistics released by the Fuzhou Customs.

Last month, the province saw its export value reach US$8.39 billion, down 14.2% from a year earlier, while its import value grew 13.2% YoY to US$5.9 billion.

In November, the Province's export of mechanical and electrical products decline 3.5% YoY to US$3.35 billion, while the export of agricultural products and garment were US$770 million and US$950 million, up 8.4% and down 8.1% YoY, respectively.

In the first eleven months, the province's foreign trade rose 8.5% YoY to US$141.09 billion, including US$88.12 billion in export value, up 4.6% from a year earlier.
