Dec. 17, 2012 (China Knowledge) - China Coal Energy Co Ltd<601898><1898>, the country's second-largest coal miner by revenue, produced 9.97 million metric tons of commercial coal in November this year, surged 19.8% YoY, according to a statement filed with the Shanghai Stock Exchange.
Last month, China Coal Energy's coke output amounted to 150,000 metric tons, up 15.4%, compared to the same month of last year.
The company sold 14.2 million metric tons of coal in November, up 38.7% from a year earlier.
In the first eleven months of this year, China Coal Energy produced 100.95 million metric tons of commercial coal, 7.2% more than that in the same period of last year.
During the period from January to November this year, the company's coal sales reached 132.12 million metric tons, increasing 7.5% from a year earlier.
