Hunan's foreign trade up 52.9% in Nov

Dec. 14, 2012 (China Knowledge) - Central China's Hunan Province saw its export and import value surge 52.9% YoY to a record high of US$2.59 billion in November this year, according to the latest statistics released by the Changsha Customs.

Last month, the province saw its export value reach US$1.53 billion, up 55.6% from a year earlier, while its import value grew 49.3% YoY to US$1.06 billion.

In the first eleven months, the province's foreign trade rose 8% YoY to US$18.48 billion, including US$10.38 billion in export value, up 17.3% from a year earlier.

The value of foreign trade under processing trade was US$4.85 billion in the first eleven months, up 110% YoY and accounted for 26.3% of the province's total.
