Dec. 13, 2012 (China Knowledge) - Anhui Province saw its consumer price index (CPI) increase 1.7% YoY in November this year, according to the latest statistics released by the Anhui Statistics Bureau.
The CPI in urban areas rose 1.7% YoY in November, while the CPI in rural areas increased 1.8% YoY, according to the statistics.
Last month the province’s food prices went up 2.2% YoY but edge down 0.1% MoM.
The prices of cigarettes, alcohol and related products climbed 1.0% YoY, while the prices of household appliances and maintenance services rose 1.6% from a year earlier.
The price of personal and health care products increased 1.0% YoY in November, and the price of clothing grew 2.0% YoY.
According to the statistics, the province's housing prices rose 1.1% YoY last month, while the price of transportation and telecommunications decreased 0.7% YoY.
In the first eleven months of this year, the province's CPI increased 2.3% YoY.
