Dec. 12, 2012 (China Knowledge) - China's fiscal revenue rose 21.9% YoY to RMB 787.1 billion in November this year, according to the latest statistics released by the Ministry of Finance.
In the first eleven months, the country's fiscal revenue grew 11.9% YoY to RMB 10.89 trillion. The growth rate was 14.9 percentage points lower than that in the same period of 2011.
The central government's fiscal revenue increased 7.7% from a year earlier to RMB 5.36 trillion during the eleven-month period, while local governments' fiscal revenues rose 16.3% to RMB 5.53 trillion, according to the statement.
From January to November, the country's tax revenue increased 9.8% YoY to RMB 9.36 trillion.
China's fiscal expenditure was RMB 10.49 trillion in the first eleven months, up 17.9% YoY. Fiscal expenditure by the central government rose 15.8% YoY to RMB 1.7 trillion, and that by local governments surged 18.3% to RMB 8.79 trillion.
