China's crude steel output up 13.7% in Nov

Dec. 12, 2012 (China Knowledge) - China, the world's largest steel producer, saw its crude steel output increase 13.7% YoY to 57.47 million metric tons in October 2012, according to the latest statistics released by the National Bureau of Statistics.

The figure last month was 2.8% less than 59.1 million metric tons it realized in October this year.

According to the statistic, China's average daily crude steel output was 1.92 million tons in November, higher than 1.91 million metric tons in October.

In the first eleven months of this year, the country saw its crude steel output hit 660.1 million metric tons, 2.9% more than it realized in the corresponding period of last year.
