's sales of passenger cars, including minibuses, amounted to 1.46 million units in November this year, up 8.75% YoY or 12.5% MoM, according to statistics released by China Association of Automobile Manufacturers.
Last month, the sales of SUVs experienced the biggest increase of 18.02% YoY, reaching 189,200 units, and the sales of sedans increased 11.33% YoY to 1.03 million units. The sales of MPVs decreased 8.56% YoY to 42,700 units, and sales of minibuses declined 5.9% YoY to 196,600 units.
From January to November 2012, the country's passenger car sales totalled 14.03 million units, 7.09% more than it realized in the same period of last year. The sales of SUVs, sedans and MPVs reached 1.79 million units, 9.75 million units and 452,200 units, up 26.26%, 6.24% and down 0.17% YoY, respectively.
Meanwhile, China produced 14.08 million passenger cars in the first eleven months of this year, reflecting a YoY increase of 7.3%.
