Dec. 11, 2012 (China Knowledge) - China saw its coal exports plunge 40.4% YoY to 0.56 million metric tons in November this year, according to the latest statistics released by the General Administration of Customs
The figure last month was 27.28% more than 0.44 metric tons it realized in October 2012.
In the first eleven months of this year, the country's coal exports amounted to 8.46 million metric tons, 38.96% less than in the same period of last year. The export value for the eleven-month period dropped 43.3% YoY to US$1.45 billion.
Meanwhile, the country's export of coke decreased 70.1% YoY to 0.96 million metric tons in the first eleven months with export value of US$420.8 million.
