China's auto sales up 8.16% in Nov

Dec. 11, 2012 (China Knowledge) - China, the world's largest auto market, saw its auto sales increase 8.16% YoY to 1.79 million units last month, according to the latest statistics released by China Association of Automobile Manufacturers.

According to the statistic, last month, the country produced 1.76 million units of autos, reflecting a YoY increase of 10.99%.

From January to November 2012, China's auto sales amounted to 17.49 million units, up 4.03% from a year earlier, while its auto production for the period grew 4.51% YoY to RMB 17.48 million units.

In the first eleven months, the top ten automakers in China sold a combined 15.33 million vehicles, accounted for 87.64% of the country's total.
