>, China's No.1 carmaker, has announced its auto sales rose 16.87% YoY to 420,022 units in November this year.
In the first eleven month, the group's auto sales amounted to 4.14 million units, up 12.44% YoY.
Shanghai Volkswagen Automotive Co Ltd, a 50-50 joint venture set up with Volkswagen AG, sold 1.21 million cars from January to November, up 13.6% YoY.
Another JV, Shanghai General Motors Co Ltd, which SAIC Motor established with General Motors, sold 1.28 million cars in the eleven-month period, increasing 11.35% from the same period of last year.
SAIC-GM-Wuling Automobile Corp, a joint venture of General Motors, Shanghai Automotive Industry Corp and Liuzhou Wuling Motors Co, saw its sales grow 12.21% from the same period of 2011 to 1.33 million units.
