Dec. 7, 2012 (China Knowledge) - U.S.-based auto giant General Motors Corp and its China joint ventures sold a total of 260,018 vehicles in November this year, representing a YoY increase of 9.7%, source reported.
Shanghai GM, a joint venture established with SAIC Motor Corp Ltd<600104
>, saw its vehicle sales reach 136,444 units last month, up 21% from a year earlier.
SAIC-GM-Wuling, a JV among SAIC, GM and Liuzhou Wuling Motors Co, sold 118,536 vehicles in November, 0.5% less than in the same month of 2011.
FAW-GM, a JV between GM and FAW Group, the parent co of FAW Car Co Ltd<000800
>, saw vehicles sales reach 4,837 units last month, up 4.2% YoY.
In the first eleven months of this year, GM, along its Chinese JVs, sold a total of 2.6 million autos in the country, reflecting a YoY increase of 10.4%.
