Dec. 5, 2012 (China Knowledge) - Mazda Motor Corp, a Japanese automobile maker, has said its auto sales in China
decreased 29.7% from a year earlier last month to 12,187 units, source reported.
The figure last month was higher than 9,511 vehicles it sold in a month earlier.
In the first eleven month of this year, the Japanese automaker saw its auto sales in China amount to 169,814 units, 11.3% less than it realized in the corresponding period of last year.
Noriaki Yamada, CEO of Mazda China, expected that the company's auto sales in China will plunge about 40% in the fourth quarter of this year, and the performance will back to normal at the end of March 2013.
