Beijing's new home sales up 94.3% in Nov

Dec. 4, 2012 (China Knowledge) - Beijing, the capital city of China, saw the number of new home sales transactions surge 94.3% YoY to 12,988 units in November, according to the latest statistic released by the Beijing Municipal Commission of Housing and Urban-Rural Development.

The figure last month was 32.4% more than it realized in October this year.

According to the statistic, the average transaction price of the city's new home stood at RMB 21,096 per sq m last month, higher than in October 2012.

Meanwhile, the transaction of second-home in the city rose to 14,449 units last month, more than 11,449 units it realized in October 2012 and 7,428 units in November 2011.
