Dec. 3, 2012 (China Knowledge) - China's revenue for software industry increased 25.8% YoY to RMB 1.96 trillion in the first ten months of this year, said the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology
The growth rate was 7.1 percentage points lower than that in the corresponding period of 2011.
In October, revenue in China's software industry was RMB 202 billion, up 26% from a year earlier. The growth rate was 2.6 percentage points higher than it realized in September 2012.
Revenue from IT consulting services reached RMB 205.2 billion in the first ten months, up 25.4% YoY, and those from the data processing and operating services grew 34% YoY to RMB 332.5 billion.
The software products’ sales rose 23.3% YoY to RMB 653.3 billion, and the information system integration services rose 24.1% to RMB 407 billion. The revenue from embedded system software rose 23.2% YoY to RMB 296.2 billion during the period.
Meanwhile, the integrated circuit design’s incomes increased 38.5% YoY to RMB 60.9 billion during the period
Export value of the software industry increased 12.6% YoY to US$27.96 billion in the period, while outsourcing service exports grew 39.4% to US$6.76 billion in the first ten months.
