Nov. 23, 2012 (China Knowledge) - Changqing Oil Field, which is the second-largest oil field by yield and is owned by China National Petroleum Corp, saw its annual output capacity of oil and gas reach 50 million tons, said CNPC in a statement.
Changqing Oil Field, which is located in Ordos Basin, Shaanxi
Province and has an area of 370,000 kilometers, produced 40 million tons of oil and gas in 2011.
According to the original plan, Changqing Oil Field is expected to produce 45 million tons of oil and gas this year and 50 million tons in 2013.
As of today, the oil field's crude oil and natural gas output amounted to 185 million tons and 158.5 billion cubic meters, respectively.
