>, the operator of Hongqiao International Airport and Pudong International Airport in Shanghai, has announced its passenger volume grew 2.45% YoY to 3.84 million in October this year.
According to a statement filed with Shanghai Stock Exchange
, the airport operator saw its passenger volume on domestic flights rose 7.94% YoY to 2.12 million and the passenger volume on international flights decreased 5.4% YoY to 1.28 million.
Last month, its cargo and mail throughput decreased 8.88% from a year earlier to 235,900 metric tons. The cargo and mail throughput for domestic flights hit 28,200 metric tons, down 9.62% from a year earlier, while that for international flights dropped 9.75% YoY to 177,800 metric tons.
The company's aircraft movements grew 3.57% YoY to 31,953 in October, including 17,201 for domestic flights and 10,924 for international flights, up 8.39% and down 1.64% YoY, respectively.
