>, the country's second largest telecommunications operator, has said its net addition of 3G users reached 3.2 million in October this year.
The figure last month was more than a net addition of 3.18 million 3G users it realized a month earlier.
By the end of last month, China Unicom saw its 3G subscribers amount to 70.07 million.
In October, the company saw its 2G subscribers increase by 190,000, and leading its total 2G subscribers to 163 million.
Meanwhile, China Unicom's fixed-line users decreased by 25,000 last month to a total of 92.6 million, and its broadband user volume increased by 677,000 to 63.33 million.
