Province, saw its import and export value increase 10.4% YoY to US$6.84 billion in the first ten months of this year, according to the latest statistics released by the Nanchang
The figure for the period accounted for 25% of the Province's total foreign trade value.
From January to October, the city's import value plunged 22% YoY to US$1.46 billion, while its export value exceeded US$5.37 billion in the period, 24.5% more than it realized in the same period of last year.
The value of foreign trade under general trade was US$3.96 billion in the ten-month period, up 13.9% YoY, and the value of import and export under processing trade was US$1.55 billion, rose 4.1% YoY.
In the first ten months, the city's trade with the U.S. and ASEAN grew 51.3% and 31.2% YoY to US$800 million and US$760 million, respectively, while its trade with the E.U. and Japan decreased 30.1% and 31.5% YoY to US$1.1 billion and US$310 million, respectively.
The city's foreign trade with Hong Kong
and Africa for the ten-month period surged 47% and 29% YoY to US$570 million and US$780 million, respectively.
