>, has announced its auto sales for October of this year hit 120,909 units, up 12.5% YoY, sources reported.
Sales of Buick vehicles rose 7.7% YoY to 60,510 units last month, and sales of Chevrolet vehicles surged 17.8% YoY to 57,908 units. The company delivered 2,491 Cadillac vehicles in October, reflecting a YoY increase of 19.5%.
In the first ten months of this year, Shanghai GM's auto sales amounted to a record 1.14 million units, 10.3% more than in the same period of 2011.
The sales of Buick vehicles amounted to 576,000 units in the ten-month period, while the sales of Chevrolet vehicles and Cadillac vehicles exceeded 540,000 units and 23,800 units, respectively.
