Nov. 7, 2012 (China Knowledge) - Starbucks Corp, a U.S.-based international coffee chain operator, will open 800 new stores in China
in the next three years and recruit over 18,000 stuffs in the country, source reported.
According to the company's financial report, the international coffee chain operator plans to open at least 300 stores in China in 2013.
Jeff Miller, vice president of Starbucks China, said that China will becomes the company's second largest market outside the United States, and by 2015, Starbucks aims to operate 1,500 stores in more than 70 cities in mainland China.
At present, the U.S.-based company had over 700 stores in 54 of Chinese cities.
