>, the country's largest wind-power producer, generated 2,377 gigawatt hours of electricity in October 2012, reflecting a YoY increase of 9.76%.
In a statement filed with the Hong Kong Stock Exchange
, the company said growth its thermal power output decrease 19.99%, wind power output increased 29.95% and the other renewable energy output jumped 193.88%.
During the period from January to October 2012, the company saw its total electricity output reach 23,128 GWh, 11.47% more than in the corresponding period of 2011. Growth of thermal power output declined 5.75%, wind power output increased 23.98% and the other renewable energy output soared 255.9%.
In the first nine months of this year, the firm earned RMB 1.72 billion in net profit, up 7.5% from a year earlier, and its operating revenue for the period increased by 7.63% YoY to RMB 12.54 billion.
