In recent years, TEDA
has committed in the development of low-carbon economy. In 2009, TEDA

vicinity, there will be construction of new energy projects, promoting the usage of advanced energy technologies and reduce the usage of conventional energy. It is expected that the carbon dioxide emission measure by GDP per capita will decline significantly making TEDA
an eco-friendly and green industrial park.
