Nov. 5, 2012 (China Knowledge) - Nissan Motor Co, Japan's No. 2 automaker by volume after Toyota Motor Corp, has said that its auto sales in China
plunge 41% YoY to 64,300 units in October this year, source reported.
The decrease rate for last month was more than a 35.3% drop it suffered in September this year.
In the first ten month of this year, the Japanese automaker sold a total of 1.01 million vehicles in China, 0.4% less than in the corresponding period of last year.
In 2011, Nissan Motor sold a total of 1.25 million vehicles in China, which accounted for 27% of its global sales. It aims to sale 1.35 million vehicles in the country this year.
