Nov. 2, 2012 (China Knowledge) - Zhejiang Geely Holding Group Co Ltd<0175>, the listed unit of China's largest privately-owned carmaker, has announced its auto export for the first ten month of this year surge 190% YoY to exceed 81,000 units.
So far, the Chinese automaker has achieved its annual export target.
In October, Geely saw its auto export reach a record high of 12,204 units, over double than a year earlier.
Russia, Iraq and Saudi Arabia are the three major foreign markets for Geely. In the first ten month period, the Chinese automaker sold 21,000 vehicles in Russia, 18,000 vehicles in Iraq and 13,000 vehicles in Saudi Arabia, respectively.
Last year, Geely's auto export hit 38,000 units, more than 21,000 units it realized in 2010 and 18,000 units in 2009.
