>, a major Chinese television and mobile phone manufacturer, has announced its it net profit attributable to shareholders decrease 28.78% YoY to RMB 205 million in the third quarter of this year.
According to a statement filed with Shenzhen Stock Exchange
, basic earnings per share for the period were RMB 0.02.
From July to September, the television and mobile phone manufacturer's operation revenue decreased 13.72% YoY to RMB 18.8 billion.
In the first nine months of this year, TCL saw its operation revenue amount to RMB 48.61 billion, reflecting a YoY increase of 10.76%. Meanwhile its net profit for the nine-month period totaled RMB 487 million, down 40.99% than it realized in the first nine month of last year.
The Shenzhen listed
company saw its sales of LCD TVs surge 51.52% YoY to 10.85 million units, while the sales of its telecommunication and other products decrease 4.23% YoY to 29.17 million units.
