>, the country's second-largest coal miner by revenue, has announced its net profit attributable to shareholders decrease 22% YoY to RMB 2.08 billion in the third quarter of this year.
From July to September 2012, the coal miner's operation revenue decreased 20.27% YoY to RMB 19.2 billion.
In the first nine month of this year, China Coal Energy saw its operation revenue totaled RMB 64.6 billion, reflecting a YoY decrease of 3.83%, while its net profit for the nine-month period hit RMB 6.85 billion, down 10.37% from a year earlier.
Meanwhile, the Shanghai
and Hong Kong listed
company said its commercial coal output increase 6.7% YoY to 82.43 million metric tons in the first nine months of this year, and its commercial coal sales for the period rose 4.7% YoY to 106.14 million metric tons.
