Province saw its export value increase 1.5% from a year earlier to US$1.84 billion in September this year, according the latest statistics released by the Wuhan
Last month, the province saw its foreign trade value grow 6.8% MoM but down 2.5% YoY to US$3.01 billion.
In the first nine month of this year, Hubei Province's foreign trade value decreased 4.2% YoY to US$23.83 billion, comprising US$ 14.22 billion in export value and US$9.61 billion in import value, up 0.6% YoY and down 10.5% YoY, respectively.
In the first nine months of 2012, Hubei Province saw its foreign trade with its largest foreign trade partner, the E.U., reach US$4.21 billion, down 17.3% from a year earlier, including US$2.81 billion worth of export value, plunged 15.6% YoY.
