Oct. 18, 2012 (China Knowledge) - China's gross domestic product grew 7.4% YoY in the third quarter of this year, according to statistics released by the National Bureau of Statistics
The figure reflected a slowdown from the 8.1% growth in the first quarter and the 7.6% growth in the second quarter respectively.
In the first nine months, China's GDP totaled about RMB 35.35 trillion, growing 7.7% from the same period of last year.
The GDP in the first three quarters included RMB 3.31 trillion generated by the primary sector, 4.2% more than in the same period of 2011.
RMB 16.54 trillion and RMB 15.5 trillion were generated in the secondary sector and the tertiary sector, 8.1% and 7.9% more than in the corresponding period of last year, respectively.
Meanwhile, the country's summer grain output increased by 3.56 million metric tons or 2.8% YoY to 129.95 million metric tons.
