Province saw its foreign trade value grow 8.1% YoY to US$4.95 billion in September this year, according the latest statistics released by the Chengdu
Last month, the province's export value hit US$2.97 billion, reflecting a YoY increase of 10%, while its import value rose 5.3% YoY to US$1.98 billion.
In the first nine month of this year, Sichuan Province saw its total import and export value hit US$43.04 billion, 28.2% more than in the same period of last year.
The export value for the nine-month period surged 42.8% YoY to US$27.92 billion, while the import value grew 7.8% from a year earlier to US$15.12 billion, ranked 11th and 12th in the country, respectively.
