Sep. 25, 2012 (China Knowledge) - Kellogg Company, one of the world's leading cereal and convenience foods producers, has announced it will set up joint venture in China with Singapore-based Wilmar International Ltd. Each party will own 50 percent of the new entity.
According to a statement, the new JV will locate in Shanghai
and will produce and sell cereals and snacks.
Wilmar International will provide infrastructure, supply chain and distribution network for the new JV, while Kellogg Company will provide a series of world famous brands and products.
No other financial details have been disclosed.
Yihai Kerry Investments Co, the Chinese subsidiary of Wilmar International, will participate in the JV.
