Sep. 24, 2012 (China Knowledge) - China, the world's largest auto market, saw its auto exports up 10.65% YoY to 95,419 units in August this year, according to the latest statistics released by the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers.
The auto exports in August reflected a growth of 5.19% from a month earlier.
Last month, the exports of passenger cars was 62,818 units, up 16.41% YoY or 9.11% MoM, and the exports of commercial vehicles was 32,601 units, up 1.02% YoY or 0.25% MoM.
In the first eight months of this year, the country saw its auto exports surge 25.08% YoY to 675,402 units. The figure included 408,431 passenger cars and 266,971 commercial vehicles, 29.18% and 19.29% more than in the corresponding period of last year, respectively.
