Sep. 19, 2012 (China Knowledge) - The E.U. trade deficit with China decreased by 10.13% YoY to EUR 67.4 billion in the first half of this year, according to the statistics released by European Statistics Office.
According to the reported figures, the E.U. imported EUR 140.2 billion worth of goods from China in the first half of this year, remained unchanged from a year earlier.
Meanwhile, the E.U. exported EUR 72.7 billion worth of goods to China during the six months period, more than EUR 65.6 billion it realized in the same period of 2011.
China is still the second largest trade partner with the E.U. just after the U.S.
Last year, Europe Union's exports to China reached EUR 136 billion, while its imports from China hit EUR 293 billion.
