>, China's second-largest cargo-container carrier, has posted a net loss of RMB 1.28 billion attributed to shareholders in the first half of this year, compared with a net loss of RMB 630 million in the corresponding period of 2011.
Basic loss per share was RMB 0.11 for the period, while its basic loss per share for the first half of 2011 was RMB 0.05.
According to a statement, the cargo-container carrier saw its operation revenue for the six months period reach RMB 15.32 billion, reflecting a YoY increase of 9.65%.
In the reporting period, the company's container throughput was 3.96 million twenty-foot equivalent units (TEU), up 15.2% from a year earlier.
