Basic earnings per share were RMB 0.01 for the period, less than RMB 0.07 it booked in the corresponding period of last year.
In a statement filed with Shanghai Stock Exchange
, the company saw its operation revenue decreased 18.27% from a year earlier to RMB 18.7 billion in the six-month period.
Baotou Steel produced 4.73 million metric tons of iron and 5 million metric tons of steel in the first half of this year.
