, has announced its net profit attributable to shareholders surged 71.93% YoY to RMB 568.45 million in the first half of this year.
The company said in a statement that the huge increase in net profit was boosted by good sales in Sanya duty free shop and growing tourism services business.
Basic earnings per share were RMB 0.65 for the period, more than RMB 0.38 it realized in the same period of last year.
In the first six month of this year, the travel agency saw its operation revenue hit RMB 6.91 billion, reflecting a YoY increase of 36.73%.
Revenue from tourism services business reached RMB 4.24 billion in the six-month period, up 31.08% YoY, while that from commodity sales business grew 47.07% from a year earlier to RMB 2.62 billion.
