>, one of China’s two leading train manufacturers, has announced its net profit attributable to shareholders increased 3.32% YoY to RMB 1.66 billion in the first half of this year.
Basic earnings per share for the period were RMB 0.17, 5.56% lower than it realized in the same period of last year.
According to a statement filed with Shanghai Stock Exchange
, the company earned RMB 42.85 billion in operation revenue for the six-month period, reflecting a YoY increase of 4.16%.
From January to June, the company saw its sales revenue from CRH decreased 16.05% YoY to RMB 9.54 billion, and sales revenue from locomotive and freight train reached RMB 7.91 billion and RMB 7.55 billion, down 13.03% and up 30.88% YoY, respectively.
Revenue from domestic market totaled RMB 38.36 billion in the first half of this year, 1.57% less than a year earlier, while that from overseas market surged 107.92% YoY to RMB 4.48 billion.
