Aug. 28, 2012 (China Knowledge) - China's revenue for software industry increased 25.4% YoY to RMB 1.3 trillion in the first seven months of this year, said the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology
The growth rate was 4.2 percentage points lower than that in the corresponding period of 2011.
In July, revenue in China's software industry was RMB 204.9 billion, up 21.4% from a year earlier. The growth rate was 1.3 percentage points lower than it realized in Jun 2012.
Revenue from IT consulting services reached RMB 120.7 billion in the first seven months, up 26.7% YoY, and those from the data processing and operating services grew 34.6% YoY to RMB 222.5 billion.
The software products’ sales rose 23.4% YoY to RMB 441.7 billion, and the information system integration services rose 21.4% to RMB 275.6 billion. The revenue from embedded system software rose 23.5% YoY to RMB 200.7 billion during the period.
The integrated circuit design’s incomes increase 35.1% YoY to RMB 42.6 billion during the period, and the growth rate was 21.7 percentage points higher than that in the same period of last year.
Export value of the software industry increased 12.5% YoY to US$19.1 billion in the period, while outsourcing service exports grew 24.1% to US$4.12 billion in the first seven months.
