>, the largest airport in China by passenger volume, has posted RMB 579.52 million in net profit for the first half of this year, reflecting a YoY increase of 12.7%.
Basic earnings per share for the period were RMB 0.13, 12.6% more than it realized in the same period of 2011. The company has proposed an interim dividend of RMB 0.04 per share.
According to a statement filed with Hong Kong Stock Exchange
, the airport saw its operation revenue grew 8% YoY to RMB 3.36 billion in the six-month period.
From January to June 2012, Beijing Capital International Airport's passenger throughput rose 4% from a year earlier to 39.38 million, while its cargo and mail throughput reached 827,366 metric tons, up 7.4% YoY.
