>, or CSR, the country's largest manufacturer of rail carriage, saw its net profit attributable to shareholders decreased 6.16% YoY to RMB 1.92 billion in the first half of this year.
Basic earnings per share for the period were RMB 0.15, 11.76% lower than a year earlier.
In a statement, the rail carriage manufacturer said its operation revenue for the first half of this year reach RMB 42.45 billion, reflecting a YoY increase of 5.8%, including RMB 13.84 billion from its multiple units of business, up 37.43% YoY.
Revenue from the company's passenger carriages and freight wagons business rose 16.06% and 15.58% YoY to RMB 3.08 billion and RMB 5.84 billion in the six months period, respectively. While that from its locomotive business was RMB 6.24 billion, down 43.36% from a year earlier.
